 I haven’t stayed at an Embassy Suites in years. Man, this one is a dump. There was a inch of cold water in the tub when I checked in. Has the brand declined, or just this one?

Meeting with Nikon about the Sunchaser when I get back to Fresno. I have expanded the project to include some mechanicals - cooling systems and an oil leak he says just needs a new seal. It feels like a long way off, 300 miles from home. Long drive later.

This is why I enjoy exclusively using Airbnb when staying places. Sure there are some weird ones out there but generally the reviews and pictures have steered me in the right direction. I dont think I have ever had a significantly positive experience at a hotel of any sort. But I guess I have never been to the Ritz or anything like that haha. The whole “cookie cutter” aspect of hotels just feels more like a prison than anything else.

That’s just Temecula. All the Embassy Suites in the Southeast are really nice.
